I'll be honest: I didn't open my Etsy shop so I could quit my job or retire early. I really just needed something to do with all the things I was making. At first, when I taught myself to crochet during the pandemic, I made blankets and baskets for virtually everyone I knew ... and myself. I wasn't going to stop crocheting, so I needed something to do with my finished products. I finally realized that I didn't just love working with yarn: I loved creating things for people—even people I don't know. Hence, Daisy + Henry was born.

(Who are Daisy and Henry? Daisy is our 15-ish-year-old cat, and Henry was our loveable mixed-breed dog.)
